A spectroscope splits the sun light into different colors, thereby making it possible to analyze which elements the Sun is made of. When the spectroscope is turned to different stars on the firmament, it is proven that they are built by exactly the same elements as the Sun, which means that our Sun is a star just as the others. With new inventions, and new research techniques, the Sun scientists get more knowledge not only of the Sun's surface, but also of what is happening inside the Sun. It shows that the Sun is not a tranquil orb, but on the contrary is extremely turbulent. The Sun, like every other star, has a core. Almost every star generates nuclear energy, which is transmuting elements from one to another, building up the whole building blocks of the Universe. In the beginning the Universe contains just hydrogen and helium. In 12 billion years the stars transform these simple gases into more complex elements.
